Legal Geek Code of Conduct
Legal Geek is a community, and should be a fun place for everyone to enjoy. We are dedicated to providing a respectful and safe event. We expect all attendees to follow our code of conduct at our conferences, and at any official or unofficial conference-related social/side events
All attendees must comply with our code of conduct:
We are dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of age; gender; marriage or civil partnership; pregnancy or maternity; disability; race including colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin; physical appearance; body size; neurodiversity; religion or belief; sex; sexual orientation; or any other protected category.
Comments or behaviour which discriminate against, harass, or demean others will not be tolerated in any form. Participants violating these rules may be asked to leave any conference at our discretion.
Legal Geek Ethos
We have defined a simple ethos for our events:
- Come to make friends, not to sell
- Dress comfortably (please, please, no ties)
- Come to learn and to teach.
- Look after your fellow law-gends, you may need their help someday.
- This is your community, please pitch in and help. You will be rewarded.
