      What is the Legal Geek Startup Programme?

      It's an initiative designed to support early-stage legal tech businesses by providing them with exposure, networking opportunities, and access to the Legal Geek community. Selected startups can benefit from unique opportunities at Legal Geek events, including the chance to showcase their products and connect with industry leaders.



      Who is eligible to apply?       

      To be considered for the Legal Geek Startup Programme, your company must meet all of the following criteria:

      • Have a live website that represents your business.

      • Be a trading and registered company (not just an idea or project).

      • Be new to Legal Geek – startups can only join the programme for one year.

      • Be a dedicated legal technology business (not a consultancy or startup law firm).

      • Be less than two years old before the event date. This means that for this year’s programme, your company must have been founded between October 2023 and October 2025 (this refers to company registration, not product launch).

      • Not have received/generated more than £1 million in funding or revenue.

      Please note that all criteria must be met to be eligible for the programme.

      What happens after I apply?

      Once you submit your application, our team will review your eligibility. If you are successful, you will receive an email confirming your acceptance into the programme along with further details about participation.

      We receive hundreds of startup alley applications and focus a lot of our resources to support grass root legal technology startups. We love a hustler, but please do not email to ask about the startup alley. This will not improve your chances and delays us replying to other attendees. 

       

      What are the benefits of joining the programme?

      Startups in the Legal Geek Startup Programme receive a range of benefits, including:

      • A chance to be part of the Legal Geek Conference Startup Alley. (Startup Alley places are decided at Legal Geek's discretion)

      • Ticket discounts to all Legal Geek conferences, exclusively for early-stage Legal Tech startups

      • Introductions to relevant support and programmes through our global legal tech network.
