The Hannie Dankbaar Passage, part of the Hallen complex, is a pedestrian-only route and may not appear on your maps. The entrance to the building is at the intersection of Kinkerstraat and Tollenstraat. Walk into the building, and you’ll find De Hallen Studio’s entrance midway along the passage at number 18.

Getting to Amsterdam

By Air

Schiphol Airport (AMS) is the main international airport serving Amsterdam. It is about 20 minutes by train or taxi to the city centre.

By Train

Amsterdam is well-connected by train to various European cities. The main train station is Amsterdam Centraal, located in the heart of the city.

 



Getting to De Hallen Studio's

From Schiphol Airport

  1. Train: Take a train from Schiphol to Amsterdam Centraal (about 20 minutes). From there, take Tram 17 towards Osdorp Dijkgraafplein and get off at the Bilderdijkstraat/Kinkerstraat stop. De Hallen is a short 2-minute walk from there. 
  2. Taxi: A taxi from Schiphol to De Hallen takes about 20-25 minutes.

From Amsterdam Centraal

  1. Tram: Take Tram 17 towards Osdorp Dijkgraafplein and get off at the Bilderdijkstraat/Kinkerstraat stop. De Hallen is a short 2-minute walk from there. 
  2. Taxi: A taxi ride from Amsterdam Centraal to De Hallen takes about 10-15 minutes.

By car:

The Hannie Dankbaar Passage is a pedestrian-only area and might not show up on your GPS. Instead, enter Bellamyplein 41, 1053 AT Amsterdam into your navigation system. This will direct you to the parking garage beneath the De Hallen complex. If you arrive by taxi, get dropped off at the intersection of the Tollenstraat and the Kinkerstraat.

Public Transport in Amsterdam

  • Trams: Trams are the easiest way to get around the city. Purchase tickets at stations or onboard (card payments only).
  • Bikes: Renting a bike is a popular option. There are numerous rental shops throughout the city.
  • Metro and Buses: Complement the tram system and are useful for reaching destinations outside the city centre.
