Event emails sent by third parties
Content:
We want to help you connect with our attendees safely. Where do we publish your data?
- Speakers are published on our website
- Attendees can create profiles on our event app, and by doing so, you are sharing your name with other attendees. App access is restricted to ticket holders
- Some photos are published on our website and social media
Why do I get emails from sales people:
- Other attendees may find you through LinkedIn or public directories and decide to get in touch
- Occasionally, non-attendees may scrape data off LinkedIn and try to contact you. They might also use public directory websites to guess your email address
- We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties
What you can do:
- Ignore or delete any messages you’re not interested in
- Block or report the sender on LinkedIn or your email provider if the contact feels inappropriate
-
Contact us if you believe your data has been misused. We’ll investigate and restrict access to attendees abusing the spirit of our events
Our commitment to you
We respect your privacy. We do not share your email address or personal contact details with other companies for marketing unless you explicitly opt in. You are in control - if you would like your data removed, just let us know, and if you receive unwanted emails and believe your details came from us, please contact us and we’ll look into it.
